FRP Fabrication &CNC Machining

Machs fiberglass fabrication turns pultruded profiles and grating into finished parts by cutting, drilling, slotting and CNC machining them at the factory. Parts arrive cut to length with holes and openings in place, so site work is limited to assembly. Fabrication can be added to any standard or custom profile order.

What We Do

Fabrication Operations

Machs fabrication covers the operations most FRP parts need before installation.

Why Factory Fabrication

Why Fabricate at the Factory

Factory fabrication keeps hole patterns consistent from one batch to the next, because every part is made from the same drawing and set-up.

Installing FRP grating on siteFRP parts fabricated at the Machs factoryFactory FabricationOn-Site Work
FactoryOn Site
  • Consistent Hole Patterns

Same drawing and set-up for every batch
Measured and drilled part by part
  • No Cutting Dust on Site

Cutting dust stays at the factory
    Cutting and drilling on site
  • Faster Installation

    Crews bolt parts together
Crews measure and drill in place

On a repeat platform or railing design, the saving grows with every kit.

Before You Enquire

What to Send for a Fabrication Quote

For a fabrication quote, send:

  1. A drawing with hole positions dimensioned from a clear datum
  2. The finished lengths and quantities
  3. The profile or grating type
  4. Any finish or kitting requirements

Only a Sketch?

If you only have a sketch, Machs can prepare the CAD drawing for your approval.

Cutting Schedule

Repeat Parts?

For repeat parts, a cutting schedule lets Machs plan stock lengths and reduce offcuts.

Still Have a Question?

Send us your drawing or ask our engineers directly.

View all FAQs
  • Typically ±0.1–0.2 mm on CNC-machined features, depending on part size; mark critical tolerances on the drawing.

  • In chemical or constantly wet service, cut ends and holes are usually sealed with a compatible resin; state the exposure and Machs will advise.

  • Members can be grouped into kits for each assembly; tell Machs how you want parts identified.
