FRP Packaging &Shipping

Machs packs FRP grating, profiles and structural kits for ocean freight, and every order is inspected, labeled and documented before it leaves the factory. Packing is planned around the length and fragility of each product, so panels and profiles arrive flat, undamaged and easy to unload. Machs ships to customers in more than 30 countries.

Container Planning

Machs confirms the loading plan with you before the goods are packed.

40 ft container. Profiles up to about 12 m are planned around the container length.

Volume Before Weight

Because FRP is light, containers usually fill by volume before they reach the weight limit, so length and bundle size drive the plan.

On Arrival

Unloading and Storage on Site

Handling FRP correctly on arrival protects the surface and the edges.

LIFTING STORAGE 1 2 3 4 5
Lifting
  • 1

Lift bundles from the packaging base with nylon slings, not from the panels or steel straps.

  • 2

    Keep grating level during lifting.

Storage
  • 3

Support stacks evenly so no single bar carries a point load.

  • 4

Store material flat and off the ground.

  • 5

Keep gritted surfaces and corners protected until installation.
