GRP mini mesh grating is made with a special mold and process to cut the aperture of the grating in half on another side of the ordinary grating. This creates double-layer grating, one side with normal mesh size and another side with half of the normal mesh size. So the load-bearing capacity of it is increased, and the resistance to pressure and tension are also enhanced. Compared with ordinary molded grating, the production process of GRP mini mesh grating is more complex, and the price is higher.
Double-layer GRP mini mesh grating is generally used in car washes to meet the special requirements of customers. Due to the reduction of the opening area, it is very ideal for greater foot coverage(eliminating foot fatigue), high heel shoe traffic, wheelchairs, carts, and hand trucks, which can effectively reduce vibration. In addition, it is also common in sewage treatment plants.
